There's no way I'm a Virgo! And this http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_fswLCHEvTc&feature=youtu.be mamawolfTake in a niiiiice long deep breath to refrain from wanting to stab anyone c:athenegoddessIts not true because I know many Libras and they are Libras not Scorpio. I can tell mostly because of the beauty factor. It makes me feel that he doesn't know what he is really talking about and its not as simple as he makes it sound. Like saying the Babylonians created astrology which is false.PixieJaneGiven my own understanding of astrology, I just shrug. I don't need the stars to line up right, given my view on WHY astrology works. (Long story short, it's metaphysics rather than physics, and the energy ultimately comes from us, not the heavens. Granted, it's a minority view.) And as for "controlled" experiments, those usually discredit experts of all kinds when they're subject to them, and unlike the ones on astrology, many of them weren't set up with the express intent to discredit it (and I wonder if he, or his source, wasn't defining any that showed astrology to be accurate as "obviously the controls weren't good enough to discredit it," such would not surprise me). I once did some research of my own looking up past predictions in a library, and while nearly all metaphysical means were false (including astrology, I recall Mountain Astrologer predicted September of 2001 would be a boring month!), so were all the economists, analysts, and even hard science! (For hard science, a geophysicist said we'd run out of something that would be catastrophic due to our strip mining it, but not only did if fail to to happen by the time I read of it over 10 years later, after the time he said society would be hurting due to this depletion, but that MORE had been found so that there was more at the time than when he wrote the book!) My favorite was where political and economic experts made predictions over the next 6 months while the magazine doing it also put out random answers for a chimpanzee to pick up. The chimpanzee had all the experts beat by a huge margin! (I think one or two were close, but still well under a 50% success rate, and the chimp still had a comfortable lead.) MeatballzzzzzzThat kind of annoys me. It shows that he has no idea what he is talking about. He should educate himself on it before bashing, IMO.mirage29 ...Desiring ShadowsBump
